When used as a changer on top of the dresser you will find it to be incredibly stable with its raised non skip support feet that are placed in the four corners. In addition to the raised feet, the Matty also has a sturdy hard bottom. This is important because some similar products that the foam touches the dresser surface directly can oxidize and discolor the dresser causing damage. The Mattys hard bottom and raised feet allow airflow underneath the Matty preventing moisture and discoloration to the furniture.
The Matty changing mat also comes with a safety belt directly attached to the bottom of the changer that provides an even more secure hold of your baby when changing.
The Matty is made in Denmark it is made from molded PUR which is soft and silky comfortable. The 100% waterproof surface can be wiped clean very easily and is strong enough that it can be disinfected with ethanol alcohol. Unlike many other changing pads the Matty is made of a material that is soft to the touch. There is no need for a cover or towel to constantly wash…just wipe it and go!!
