2018 marks the 30th anniversary for Natart and what a journey it has been for us! Few people thought that a small, family-owned business would go on to become the largest North American manufacturer of nursery furniture in just under 3 decades. To celebrate this occasion, we wanted to share our journey through the years with you.

The Story Begins…
…in Rome, Italy. Our family started making juvenile furniture that is superior in both quality and design. We believe that form and functionality are equally important. Why should parents sacrifice aesthetics in the quest for utility? Natart juvenile furniture offers the best of all worlds to families.
Our family moved to Canada in 1995 and we brought our best designs with us. From then on, Natart has been manufacturing furniture that looks good, works well and is healthy for children. Healthy furniture? Yes, it’s true! All our products – from baby cribs to changing tables – are made locally, with solid wood and certified safe to use by families.

Today, we continue to innovate in the field of nursery furniture. All our furniture is certified under the Greenguard Gold program. No other company had certified cribs in 2010, a time when all of our products carried the coveted certification. Every piece is tested to ensure compliance with air quality standards and adhere to safety standards in both the US and Canada.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality products that not only ensures the health and safety of children but also carries the design sensibilities of our Italian heritage. All our products are made in Canada by a local workforce and with locally sourced materials. We believe in supporting the local economy and thank all our customers for supporting us so far. Here’s to 30 more years of safe and healthy nursery furniture!
